Welcome everyone.

First off we would like to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Main Street Bistro formerly known as La Tea Da in Cavalier. Kelsey Monson (Cavalier) and her Husband Charlie Monson (East Grand Forks) purchased the Main Street Bistro January 1st 2011.

We are keeping the Bistro very similar to what the La Tea Da was. We are going to try and add more variety to the menu and expand our hours.

This site has information about the Bistro including what is served on our menu. There is also a page where you can send us your comments or suggestions. You can find the comment box under the section Comment Form. 

We have a variety of things to offer.  Our menu changes daily with one main dish and a variety of sandwiches that we serve from 11 to 4.

--A special thanks goes out to all of the wonderful people who reserved a table for Valentine’s Day this year. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you. THANKS!!!

 We also have a large selection of desserts, baked goods, and breads. We will take orders.  Along with our baked goodies Kelsey makes and decorates cakes ranging from sheet cakes to tiered wedding cakes.

---Starting next week (Jan. 16th) we will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience. 

***NOTICE***

We are not open Friday and Saturday Nights as of now (7/30/11). There is just not enough traffic. We will re-open at  sometime in the future. Keep checking back, or call for more information. We are more than willing to schedule any kind of special dining or catering event!!!!!

We also offer beer and wine so you can enjoy a drink with your meal. For those of you who enjoy coffee we have something for you too. We have a variety of coffee flavors, espressos, cappuccinos,  lattes and of course regular coffee and decaf. So stop in on your way to work and enjoy a coffee and a cookie!
